Her Ranger by Christin Lovell Review

One extra curvy blogger.
One extra feisty Army Ranger.
One chance at redemption.

Catherine Celli is a military wife, an Army-spouse-lifestyle blogger, and a full-figured woman whose world comes crashing down when it’s announced that her husband is MIA. She’s forced to do the only thing she can: cling to hope.

Master Sergeant Ronaldo Celli is one hell of a soldier, one hell of a fighter. He never gives up on making it home to his wife. But when he finally returns, neither of them is the same.

For weeks, all they had was hope. Now that they have each other again, they find that hope is still required, because all wounds need time to heal.

So we are back with another military short story from Christin Lovell, but this book is a little different from the two before! So get your Kleenex out, you are going to need them.
Catherine Celli is an Army Ranger wife, so she is used to the up and down of military life. But when she gets a visit from the FRG (Family Readiness Group), specifically the post commander’s wife, telling her that her husband had lost radio communication while on a mission, blows Catherine’s life to pieces, and she struggles through two weeks till her husband has been found…but will he come home the same man!
Okay, so this book had me in tears and still does every time I read it! Christin writing manages to port me into the story and puts me right in Catherine’s place. This is by far one of THE BEST short stories I have ever read! To be able to produce such an emotional reaction out of the reader in such a short story, is clearly the work of a Master. So with that being said, I give Her Ranger 10 out of 10!
