12 Masters. Infinite fantasies. Welcome to Blasphemy…
He wants to dominate her senses—and her heart…
Quinton Ross has always been a thrill-seeker—so it’s no surprise that he’s drawn to extremes in the bedroom and at his BDSM club, Blasphemy, where he creates sense-depriving scenarios that blow submissives’ minds. Now if he could just find one who needs the rush as much as him…
When an accident leaves Cassia Locke with a paralyzing fear of the dark, she’ll try anything to get help. Ready to fight, she knows just who to ask for help—the hard-bodied, funny-as-hell Dom she’d always crushed on—and once stood up.
Quinton is shocked and a little leery to see Cassia, but he can’t pass up the chance to dominate the alluring little sub this time. Introducing her to sensory deprivation becomes his new favorite obsession, and watching her fight fear is its own thrill. But when doubt threatens to send her running again, Quinton must find a way to master her senses—and her heart.
Quinton Ross is always happy when he is standing behind the bar and Blasphemy; the BDSM club he co-owner with the other 11 masters. But Quinton is different from the other masters, in the sense that Quinton doesn't want a 24/7 arrangement, he just wanted someone that stoked his fire.
Cassia Locke had survived one of the most traumatizing experience, by being trapped in a cave, in the dark, underground (my own personal nightmare) FOR FOUR DAYS (I'm a little light headed *phew*). But as a geologist with the U.S. georgical survey, it's Cassia job, but now she is terrified of the dark (well duh!, I'm now scare of the dark, and all I did was read that paragraph). So in order to keep the job she loves, she has to overcome her fear! And as a member of the exclusive Blasphemy club, Cassia decided she to tackle her fears head on. But when she actually gets in the room, she has a sever panic attack, and in rushes Master Quinton, Master of Sensory Deprivation, to save her....And I'm going to leave it there, just to drive you all crazy.
I have LOVED every single of the Blasphemy books to date and Mastering Her Senses is no different. I absolutely love the way the author makes relationship and struggles the focus of the book and not the sex, which puts her (in my humble opinion) in a select group of really talented BDSM writers, and as a reader, I sincerely appreciate that. The plot is simply delicious and you can help but be sacked into the story, and honestly, just want to stay there.
The characters are fantastic, and it makes a change to have characters that are not obsessed with have living the BDSM lifestyle 24/7. Quinton loves the social side of his job and Cassia loves her geological career.
Over all, Mastering Her Senses has been one of the best BDSM books I have ever read and I can't wait to read more in this series.
I give Mastering Her Senses 5 stars.
