You will assume you are reading about a jealous wife and her obsession with her replacement.
You will assume you are reading about a woman about to enter a new marriage with the man she loves.
You will assume the first wife was a disaster and that the husband was well rid of her.

Assume nothing.

Now I'm all for psychological thrillers, but this book really threw me! And by threw me, I mean totally screwed with my head that it gave me nightmares! You literally go from hating characters to liking characters in 0.5 seconds! And while this book has been out for 8 months, it has honestly taken me this long, plus reading it twice to honestly say, this book truly makes no sense to me in parts, the ending is like a smack in the face to pretty much everyone, and no matter how much I committed to reading it!

Now don't get me wrong, this is not back to back plot twists, a few big ones a bunch of small ones that you could semi see coming and I hate to say it, but a whole lot of nothing in the middle. By the end of the book I was left with feeling like I had wasted a whole bunch of time, and no matter how many times I tried to read this book, it wouldn’t speak to me, and in part that made me sad, as the synopsis had so much promise.

I give The Wife Between Us 2 stars
